Description
Departing from Lagos Marina, we embark on a scenic journey up the historic river, taking in the beautiful sights as we navigate into the Atlantic Ocean. Our adventure heads east towards the stunning beaches and impressive rock formations of Alvor.
Next, we’ll follow the breathtaking coastline along Praia da Rocha, entering the Arade River that separates Portimao from Ferragudo, leading us to the enchanting medieval town of Silves.
As we pass by Portimao marina and glide beneath several bridges, Silves gradually comes into view, revealing our destination nestled by the riverside. We’ll moor directly outside the restaurant, placing you just steps away from your table. Here, you can unwind and indulge in a leisurely long lunch while Ivan prepares delicious meals on the grill and Ana and her team make sure your drinks are always topped up.
Ivan’s rustic style of Portuguese cooking is exceptional, with each dish bursting with flavor. The menu features fresh local produce and changes daily for a seasonal culinary experience.
As the tide begins to recede, we’ll make our way back down the river. You’ll have the option to drop anchor near the beach of Ferragudo or at one of our preferred spots, perfect for swimming from the boat or simply enjoying a couple of refreshing drinks. Finally, we’ll return across Lagos Bay to the marina,
